P-gp

P-gp (permeability glycoprotein) is an important protein of the cell membrane that pumps many foreign substances out of cells. It is an ATP-dependent efflux pump with broad substrate specificity. It exists in animals, fungi and bacteria and likely evolved as a defense mechanism against harmful substances. P-gp is a glycoprotein that in humans is encoded by the ABCB1 gene. P-gp is a well-characterized ABC-transporter (which transports a wide variety of substrates across extra- and intracellular membranes) of the MDR/TAP subfamily.
  • Diethylstilbestrol EY2314

Diethylstilbestrol, a synthetic nonsteroidal estrogen used in the treatment of menopausal and postmenopausal disorders.

    More
  • Ethinyl Estradiol EY2262

Ethynyl estradiol is an orally bio-active estrogen used in almost all modern formulations of combined oral contraceptive pills.

  • Gestodene EY2240

Gestodene is a progestogen hormonal contraceptive. Gestodene is a novel synthetic progestin--characterization of binding to receptor and serum proteins.

  • Drospirenone EY2241

Drospirenone is a ourth-generation and synthetic progestogen exhibiting antiandrogenic and antimineralocorticoid activity.

    More
  • Tamoxifen EY2226

Tamoxifen is a selective estrogen receptor (ER) modulator. Tamoxifen-induced apoptosis was associated with inhibition of cancerous inhibitor of protein phosphatase 2A (CIP2A) and phospho-Akt (p-Akt) in a dose-dependent manner.
